The little Clay Pot

Lots of things can go in a little Clay Pot

About The little Clay Pot January 28, 2010

I am a home schooling, bread making, sometimes crafty, song singing, drum playing, thrifty shopping, Jesus serving, used to stay at home mother of 4. I am an RN and a Certified Lactation Counselor and I work full time because right now, that’s were God has me.  I have been learning for years how to best manage our home and lives…and I am still learning–especially as my roles keep changing!

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was born in the flesh, died in the flesh, and rose form the dead…defeating death!  I believe that His sacrifice was part of a plan for our salvation–to reconcile our relationship with God, YHWH, the Creator and Possessor of all things. I believe that Jesus will return and that we are to look for His appearing as instructed in Titus 2.  I believe these things with my whole heart, mind and spirit…and I desire to learn daily how to listen to the LORD, and not to my flesh.

All that being said, I am not perfect.  I am not Wonder Woman, Martha, the perfect church lady or any other category of women that we compare ourselves to and conspire to be…I am simply me.  My hope is that this blog can be an outlet for me to learn, and to help other women learn how we can use All things to learn about our Creator.

When I started this blog (1/29/10)…the main postings were weekly dinner menus and a grocery break down of how I fed my family local, whole foods, and maintained a budget of $100.00 a week for groceries.

For now I’m leaving all that posted, and may throw up an occasional menu…but as life has changed and my families needs have changed…so have I.  It’s amazing how little Clay Pots stay to pliable and are always a work in progress!  So this blog is going to get a bit more diverse.  I appreciate any feedback and pray that LORD will bless my endeavors.

Lots of things can be put in a little Clay Pot. A little Clay Pot is nothing fancy, but it was created for a purpose, and it can be used for something simple, or to hold something lovely and valuable; but, A little Clay Pot would still be a lump of clay if it had not been formed, bent, and molded by it’s creator.
