I will probably double this recipe. I have not tried it yet, but it has been on my “to try” list for a while. I will guesstimate my own taco seasoning with Adobo, chilli pepper, etc. I will be using home made tortillias and I have sour cream and Hamburger. So the only thing on the grocery list for this meal is Corn, Chips, Salsa, and cheddar cheese.

Another one that has been on the “to try list.” I have everything in house to make this except the lasagna noodles and the cottage cheese (cheaper than ricotta, and I havn’t had milk to make cheese in some time.)
Chicken pieces go over really well at my house, although I don’t care for them particularly. But my 4 year old literally cleans the bones! I will bake with some adobo seasoning, and call it good. My budget this week will dictate buying a bag of frozen chicken pieces from Aldis instead of local–but if you can swing it look for some local meat.
Pizza is a Friday night staple at our house. I think this week I am going to try to have some left over chicken from Thursday nights dinner and try to make 1 Chicken wing pizza and 1 cheese pizza. I have been using My Bread recipe for pizza crust and still have to perfect it…SO depending on time I may make home made pizza crust this week.
We were given some sirloin from my in-laws. If you don’t have the budget to buy sirloin this week, substitute hamburgers or meatloaf etc.
I normally make Large batches of soup, and freeze some for later meals. I like to be able to rest and spend time doing other things on Sunday, so I will take a baggy of frozen soup out of the freezer run under som warm water to loosen it up, and put the whole frozen thing in a Pot on low, or in a crock pot.
