The little Clay Pot

Lots of things can go in a little Clay Pot

Weekly Menu 4.12.10-4.18.10 April 5, 2010

Tacos, Rice, & Fruit for dessert

No fancy recipes.  Just brown hamburger, top with your favorite fixin’s and enjoy.

Tuesday-  It’s a birthday at our house!

The child requested Pizza, Imagine that!

Cheese sandwiches, Carrot sticks, Hard boild eggs, & Jell-o

With the change in weather and the crazy schedule, I am not real interested in spending a lot of time in the kitchen, and my husband is not real interested in getting through meals that the kids don’t care for while I am at school.  So,instead of planning and buying groceries for “REAL meals” I am going to plan on the meals that we will actually fix, and eat.  Now isn’t that a novel idea!  It seems so simple, why have I not thought of it before?

BBQ Ribs,  baked beans, Corn Bread & Salad

Again, no fancy recipe.  I have some ribs left in the freezer that need to be used,  and they should cook up quick.

No, this is not a typo. *GRIN*  We will actually be having pizza two times this week.  Tonight will be the night for family to come over and have cake and ice cream…we don’t do BIG birthdays, so I figure if the kid want’s pizza two nights in one week…I can handle that.

Hotdogs, carrot sticks, chips, pasta salad and Marshmallows for dessert

Hopefully the weather will be nice and we will be outside.

Choice: Either cold beef sandwhiches, chips, left over salads etc.

Roast beef, Potatoes, Beans, & Bread

If the weather is going to be good, Roast the roast Saturday while you are playing outside, let it cool down and stick it in the fridge so it is ready for sandwiches on Sunday OR

if the moos strikes, Roast the roast and make a nice Sunday dinner.
